Anti-violence and Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs
We have a number of programs designed to reduce violence and teen pregnancy among the teens we serve.

We offer multiple programs to develop and enhance participants interpersonal, academic, and leadership skills.

Our Silver Spring Neighborhood Center Sports Programs take a holistic approach to strengthening the person, assisting the student and developing the athlete.
Adults
Adult Employment
SSNC's Adult Employment Program plays an essential role in our mission of helping individuals achieve self-sufficiency and increasing access to economic mobility. SSNC serves as one of four administering agencies of Transform Milwaukee Jobs Program (TMJP). Participants of TMJP are individuals 18 to 64 years old who are facing multiple barriers to gaining employment.

Food Pantry
The Emergency Services food pantry is available to families, seniors and individuals in need of food, and provides residents with a two-three day food supply, serving residents in the zip codes of 53218, 53225, 53209.
Nursing Clinic
Open since 1986, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, College of Nursing, Silver Spring Community Nursing Center is located inside the Silver Spring Neighborhood Center.
Literacy Services
Literacy Services of Wisconsin partners with Silver Spring Neighborhood Center and Wisconsin’s FoodShare Employment and Training (FSET) program to provide adult education programming.
